Students enrolled in Business & Information Technology courses benefit from gaining valuable hands-on business-related skills in Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheet, database, publication, and multimedia applications; as well as knowledge of economics, personal finance, accounting, marketing, coding, and web design. Students participate in real-world activities and hear presentations from local community business leaders.
The FDHS Business & Information Technology Department consists of three adjacent computer labs (Windows platform) on the 100 Hallway. Three business teachers teach a variety of courses related to business and information technology. Students enrolled in business classes are eligible to join our co-curricular student organization, Future Business Leaders of America chapter. |
